This course lays the foundation for mastering sales skills to apply in any situation for a variety of motives, whether personal or professional in nature.  Students enrolled in this course learn how to assess a sales opportunity; recognize a buying cycle and create an appropriate sales cycle; develop a sales strategy; and navigate competitive and political forces at play. Students learn about the customer experience and how customer-centric marketing leads to long-term customer loyalty. Students are also responsible for product planning, marketing, visual merchandising, advertising, ordering, pricing, and inventory management of the school store.  At the end of this course, students are eligible to receive college credit through Central Maine Community College (CMCC).
